One actor, five characters and everything you need to know before Jesus Returns, Palin becomes president or Obama destroys us all! Transcending party politics, Peterson addresses racism, sexism, homophobia, the environment, foreign policy and family values. He even slips in a dance number! Last season, Peterson brought "Doin' Time in the No Mo Homo House" & "Transfigurations - Transgender Bible Stories" to Rainbow Players to an enthusiastic audience who wanted more. Well, here you go.

Peterson Toscano is a theatrical performance activist using comedy and storytelling to address social justice concerns. He spent 17 years and over $30,000 on three continents attempting to change and suppress his same-sex orientation and gender differences. Since 2003 he has traveled in North America, Europe, and Africa performing in diverse venues and speaking in the media. Having spent a decade detoxing from years of repression and misinformation, he began to go beyond his own experience and write plays that explore sexism, racism, the environment, violence and gender. His newest play is about transgender Bible characters. Peterson has been featured in the US Media including The New York Times, People Magazine, the Montel Williams Show, Public Radio International, Logo TV, and The Tyra Banks Show. Peterson has also presented his work internationally in Canada, Cameroon, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, England and Wales. He is featured in German and Swedish Wikipedia and has been interviewed on radio and Television in Europe and the UK. He made his professional acting debut in the Peter Hanke play "Kaspar" at Cafe Bustello, NYC (1989). His film credits include "Star Queen--A Star is Bored" (2002), Eli Parker's Getting Married? (2001), Fish Can't Fly (2005), Chasing the Devil: Inside the Ex-Gay Movement (2008), Cure for Love (2008), For Such a Time as This (2008), and This is What Love in Action Looks Like (2009).

<img src="images/despicable_poster2.jpg" alt="Despicable People Poster" border=0" height="1000" width="623">

The play asks, "Can a straight man and a gay man be friends?"
